Commission: The Bear and His Daughter Cover

I was commissioned by an author by the name of Peter Fane (https://www.facebook.com/TheKingdomofRemain/ for more info on his works!) to do some artwork for his upcoming novel "The Bear and His Daughter." I was tasked with creating two different cover variants, one with and without fire (pertinent to the story). This has definitely been the most time consuming art piece I have ever worked on. I was not the only artist commissioned to do this cover, and sadly mine was not chosen, however the one that was chosen was brilliant! I just thought I would share this here so people can see what took up a big chunk of my summer in terms of art production.
