So I haven't done much art lately thanks to rigorous Computer Science course work, but this Monday I was put into a group project for an English course, where our task was to make a presentable form of one of our previous essays.
We chose one of our group member's essays about electric cars and the lack of charging units available and decided to make a board game. On Monday we decided on a rough sketch layout of what the board would look like. On Tuesday I took the sketch and made a digital skeleton version of the board, placing the different spots and making it neat. Then on Wednesday we met and play tested the layout, and yesterday I took the feedback from the play test, adjusted the different spot positions and actually did the illustration design-work for the board. I used references for the battery icon, the plug icon is influenced by a pre-existing design, I just modified it to fit the board game better, and today it got printed!
It was a lot of fun and I'm happy with it!
